Green Gambling

My boyfriend turned into a big-time gambler.. Should I call that gamber anonymous hotline on him?

He puts his whole pay check on one hand of roulette and half of his money is on black. He says he knows what he's doing but I'm not quite sure because he visits the ATM quite often. Should I worry or is this a phase?

  1. Yes, because he could lose his whole life-saving.
  2. worry! the thing about these casino games is that they are set up for the customer to loose, he will eventually loose it all unless he knows how much he can afford to loose
  3. Gambling can be a big addiction and your boyfriend sounds like he's in pure denial. If you care about him, I think you should say something...have a conversation about his gambling habits and help him stop going to the casino. I think calling the hotline would be a good idea, but you're not calling the hotline on him, you're calling the hotline to help him. They would know how to handle your situation better than I would....everyone else is right, the house always wins.
  4. If your boyfriend feels like he can afford it shouldnt be a problem...... has he paid all his bills before he went? is he in debt? hows his credit? How often does he visit the casinos?
