there is an organization for families of gamblers much like there is one for families of alcoholics. It's called Gam-Anon. http://www.gam-anon.org/ Check it out, i hope it helps you to recover and deal better...good luck!!!

Well, first off are willing to find him some help before you call it quits or are you looking for an excuse to use to split? If your willing to get him help, you love him? As in the Marriage vows, in love in sickness and in health. I think the first thing to try is asking if he would give you the money he plays with and by the end of the week. or month. He would have saved the "marriage" some extra expense and you can maybe go out and enjoy it on a mini vacation or picking up a bottle of wine and having a romantic night at home. There is many resources out there for people like your husband and you. Start with local hospital, and asking friends or even calling the gambling hotline for more answers. Good Luck.
They do have Gamblers Anonymous, they would have a support group to help the families and friends of addicts.
